Rabbi's Reflections ~ קהילה On Sunday, I visited TBS campers at Camp Stein up the hill on Copper Basin Road. And I continued following the tragedy at Camp Mystic in Texas. The comparison fills me with sadness. Innocent children attending a summer camp with hopes of making friends, exploring new activities, celebrating their faith in the sort of spiritual context that only a summer camp nestled in nature can offer.
I cannot imagine how their families will cope with this devastating loss.
If you would like to help, Shalom Austin has posted these suggestions.
Jewish poet Joanne Fink composed this prayer on Tuesday.
