One of my continuing goals is to encourage the arts at TBS. Fine art, music, theater, dance, craft and anything that invites spirituality and connection with Judaism through art is a primary way we enrich our lives.
This spring, join us at the Purim Spiel, a presentation on the music and life of Bob Dylan, and an afternoon performance of Fiddler on the Roof. Our craft group meets every Tuesday at 1:00pm. We have a choir and a band. Israeli dancing returns in May. Our Gala will feature a local band and dancing.
ShabbArt is a program that I created many years ago to invite congregant artisans to display a piece or two of their art at a special oneg before a Friday Shabbat service. If you would bring a piece or two, let me know and we'll schedule a Friday for this program. Such a lovely way to welcome Shabbat with art.
