Rabbi's Reflections ~מצבה I was honored to lead an unveiling service last Sunday morning.
On Saturday evening, the family's children and adults met to decorate small flat stones with messages and art for the deceased.
During the ceremony, they placed the stones on the newly revealed gravestone. Colorful and personal, these stones remain visible memories of those whose lives go on but who will never forget their beloved saba, father, husband, and friend.
What a beautiful memorial to a well-loved man.
L'shalom, Rabbi Susan
