Rabbi’s Reflections ~ Annual Meeting

Gathering together annually to share the news of the synagogue is a way to show our support and love for this wonderful congregation. It is a celebration of who we are and where we are headed as well as a review of all the terrific things we've accomplished in the past year. 

I always look forward to the Annual Meeting. It's short and sweet but filled with good feelings and positive energy. And, with almost my first year completed at TBS, I am excited to be with you all on this special morning.

Let's fill the room for an hour or so as we celebrate. And, yes, food will be served!

The next regular Board Meeting is Wednesday, July 26 at 2pm at TBS. 

Save The Date! Our annual congregational meeting will take place on Sunday, June 25 at 10am at Temple B'rith Shalom.

Mahjong Lessons Continue! Tuesdays from 11:00-1:00 in our Social Hall. RSVP to Shari Brooks at Shari@jbrookswa.com for table and mahjong set planning. Bring your lunch or a nosh if you like.

Wednesdays at 11:15 ~ Hebrew Drop-In Class ~ Every other week ~ Come when you can to learn to read, practice reading, learn prayer vocabulary. Work at your own pace. Upcoming: June 28

Gardeners: Are there 4 or 5 folks at TBS that might be interested in creating a summer fruit/vegetable garden at TBS? What a wonderful way to express our Jewish connection to the earth. Let Rabbi Susan know.

Folk-Song Sing-Along! 
Monday, June 26 4:30-6pm
Come sing your favorite folk songs with fellow friends! Feel free to bring an instrument to play along as well. 

Granite Creek Vineyards Wine and Music Afternoon.  Sat., July 8 ~ 1:00-4:00.  RSVPs required (seating limited to 20) by Wed., July 5. Email Rabbi Susan to RSVP. Bring your own nosh or purchase there. A wonderful way to spend Shabbat afternoon!
