One Room Shul House
The goal of Temple Brith Shalom's Religious School is to make passionate Jewish life an integral part of our B'rith Shalom families experience of Judaism.
Our Mission
We want every member of Temple Brith Shalom, from the very youngest to the most seasoned, to experience and engage their Jewish lives through an authentic, rich and STICK TO YOUR BONES, Judaism.
It is my personal goal as the Rabbi of B'rith Shalom, in conjunction with the leadership team of our school, Arlene Brownie and Blanch Jacobs, to create an environment that mimics the rhythm and motion of a passionate Jewish life. The goal is for our children and their parents to LIVE Judaism rather than just learn about Judaism.
We know that Jewish culture is transmitted through the experience of belonging, of Shabbat, of Torah, of Tikkun Olam and of Tefillah. The goal of the school’s philosophy will be to make these ideas a deep seeded part of our communities heart and soul. We will make DOING JEWISH a natural part of our selves so that living Jewishly, celebrating Jewishly and life long learning will become an integral part of our every day lives. WE will know what it means to be Jewish.
