Sisterhood at Temple B'rith Shalom
Temple B’rith Shalom invites women of all ages to join for friendship, fun, and service to the Temple and the needy in the tri-city community. Sisterhood has activities, fund-raisers, and special projects for women throughout the year. A typical member year will include the annual member luncheon; an apples and honey Oneg on Rosh Hashanah, the annual
Election Day soup and dessert lunch, excursions to cultural events, crafts and Mah Jong lessons, an interfaith tea or lunch, the fun of its Knitting Club, and much more.
The Sisterhood Gift Shop meets all of your needs (for holiday and life cycle events). We offer for sale Kiddish Cups, Challah Covers, Candles & Candlesticks, Mezzuzahs, Matza Plates, Matza Covers, Elijah's & Miriam's Cups, Menorahs, Talitot, Kipot, along with games and books for children. A complete selection of Jewish greeting cards for all occasions is also available.
B’rith Shalom Sisterhood contributes to Israel and the Jewish community through its membership in and donations to Women of Reform Judaism. Most of its fund-raising proceeds, as well as time and resources, are donated directly to Temple B’rith Shalom.
